The aim of realizing a transcultural artistic experience was the nuclear motive for the decision to go towards the unknown. Extrapolate my work as an author and put it to the test of analysis and transformation in an unconventional scenario, in human space / time unknown to me and the possibility of traveling to places less traveled by western tourism and influence. Research conducted in the pre-voyage phase provided a series of theoretical information useful to create a kind of itinerary that would prove to be quite random. The intention to make the trip with own equipment by lands unknown and still little explored of Northeast of India, was presented a great challenge. Traveling with sensitive equipment has awakened in me a constant sense of alertness in an automatic way and the creation of safety mechanisms and maximum alert for possible less pleasant situations. The uncertainty of accessing similar equipment in the event of unforeseen events was a good reason for a rigorous preparation of the trip with regard to technical aspects. My first contact with ancestral cultures was a stuttering moment in my memory, not only because of the cultural clash evident and expected, but because in the real moment of sharing the contrasts become real and felt. What do they think of me being there? They questioned my intention when they saw me, and the more confused they were when I began to reveal my intention of crossing technological experiences with traditional and spiritual culture. I felt like a rare species in the midst of so many other species, but the hospitality and kindness of the local people with whom I have traveled have always offered me a home. Non-verbal communication has proved useful but not always effective in the creative process. The exchange of information and deeper knowledge in the absence of a common code proved to be somewhat abstract and intangible, making it difficult to collect information and slightly altering the dynamics of preparation for performances. The cultural asymmetries were being broken with the adaptation of both, the proximity, the evolving relationship, and the creation of common codes.
